Peter Podbielski graduated from New York Institute of Technology with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree after a career as a Physical Therapist Assistant, soccer coach and runner athlete.
His professional accreditations include membership in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), a professional organization aimed at improving physical therapist practice, education and research. Peter is also a member of the association’s local Arizona chapter (APTAAZ).
In addition to his comprehensive physical therapy work, he has received advanced training in the John F. Barne’s Myofascial Release approach and treats complex pain issues including postural issues, scoliosis and common musculoskeletal injuries. He is an expert MFR practitioner as well as an instructor. He has completed a course in the Redcord Education Program.
During his over 25 years of professional experience he had treated athletes of different specialties, including track and field runners and coaches, soccer players, and ultra-marathon runners (assisting during Sparthatlon in Greece and Badwater in Death Valley).
His extensive experience in fitness and corrective exercise brings a unique range to his treatment approach – structuring patient programs according to their individual needs and preferences and encouraging exploration of complementary approaches to healing when appropriate.
Peter lives in Phoenix with his wife Ania, daughter Alexandra and sons Adam and Daniel. In his leisure time he enjoys meditation, yoga, Pilates, hiking and soccer.
